About the project
Work to improve internal roads and create better living conditions for residents is being carried out gradually across the Kurshab rural area. As part of these efforts, new asphalt pavement was laid on two internal streets.
The official opening ceremony was attended by Kanybek Apbasov, Akim of Uzgen District, Saktan Keldibaev, Head of Kurshab Ayil Okmotu, local residents, and representatives of relevant organizations.
The improvement of local roads has a direct positive impact on the daily lives of residents by providing safer and more convenient conditions for both vehicles and pedestrians.
Main objectives of the project
- improve the condition of internal roads in the Kurshab rural area;
- create convenient and safe road infrastructure for residents;
- improve transport accessibility;
- enhance the sanitary and architectural appearance of settlements;
- create favorable conditions for the socio-economic development of the area.
Completed works
As part of the project, the road base was prepared and asphalt paving works were completed on two internal streets. The improved roads have been put into operation and opened for public use.
These works form part of the broader, phased programme to repair and improve internal roads throughout the Kurshab rural area.
Expected results
The rehabilitation of the internal streets is expected to:
- improve the quality of road surfaces;
- provide more comfortable travel conditions for residents;
- increase road safety;
- reduce vehicle operating costs;
- improve the overall appearance and infrastructure of the rural area.
Road repair and asphalt paving works in the Kurshab rural area are expected to continue gradually, subject to available resources and the priority of problematic road sections.
